What would you want to buy for breakfast at a bakery?

I want to know specifically what kinds of things you would buy at a bakery for breakfast? Please be specific with what kind of items(for instance blueberry muffins or cream cheese scones)
If you could have your favorite thing sold at a local bakery what would it be. Does anyone have any brilliant recipes for bakery items? Only serious answers. I am considering opening a bakery in the future and need consumer input so I know what people want.

i want to get a croissant and a banana nut muffin.

i would sell muffins, cakes, and pies,

      Here’s a recipe

Raisin Cobbler: You need 1 1/2 quart (1.5L) casserole Dish, measuring spoons, 2 mixing spoons, medium bowl, liquid measures, dry measures, oven mitts, wire rack, wooden toothpick

ingredients:can of Raisin Filling, lemon juice, large egg, cooking oil, milk, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt

Place the oven rack in the center position. turn the oven on to 400 degrees (205 C) Pour the raisin pie filling into the ungreased casserole dish. Add the lemon juice. Stir into the filling. Place the casserole uncovered, in the oven to heat while preparing the topping.

break the egg into the bowl. Use the spoon to beat until honestly smooth. Add the cooking oil and milk to the egg. Stir.

Add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir until just moistened. use the ove mitts to remove the casserole dish to the wire rack. Drop the batter by rounded tablespoonfuls over top of filling. Return the casseroledish to the oven. Bake uncovered in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. The wooden toothpick inserted in the center of the topping. Should come out clean if fully cooked. use the oven mitts to remove the casserole dish to the wire rack. Serve warm. Serves 6 people.

I’d get the traditional Jersey Breakfast : A buttered poppy seed hard roll and a cup of coffee.

Otherwise try making scones (blueberry, raspberry, chocolate etc), muffins and muffin tops. Make things that people are use to seeing and other things they may not be sure of, like pumpkin, different berries and lemon

Besides all the sweet stuff, I would like bread products like croissants and bagels, all kinds or several that are favorites, like plain, raisin, whole wheat, and sell cream cheese in small containers for take out and have butter packets for the croissants.Muffins such as corn(usually the most well loved) then pumpkin near the Thanksgiving holidays, always blueberry, cinnamonchip, lemon filled, cream filled like boiled cream, poppyseed, strawberry or raspberry muffins, everything I’ve mentioned gets sold in many bakeries around Boston, plus many more like gingerbread muffins,so excellent. I wish you best of luck in your endever

      Crisp Apple Strudal

      INGREDIENTS:

      For the filling:
750g eating apples, peeled, cored and diced small
finely grated zest and juice of ½ lemon
      90g caster sugar
      1 heaped tsp ground cinnamon
      40g raisins

      For the pastry:
      6 sheets filo pastry, each about 47.5 x 30cm
50g butter, melted and cooled until tepid
2 tbsp dry breadcrumbs or semolina
      icing sugar

      PREPARATION:

      1. Preheat the oven to 190C/375F/gas mark 5. Mix all the filling ingredients together.
      2. To prevent the filo pastry drying out, lay it in a heap, cover with a sheet of greaseproof paper and cover that with a tea towel wrung out in cold water.

      3. Lay a large (dry) sheet of greaseproof paper on the work surface. Take 1 sheet of filo pastry and lay it out flat in front of you on the greaseproof paper. Brush with melted butter. Take the next sheet, lay it out flat, overlapping the first along the long edge by about 7.5cm. Brush with butter.

      4. The third sheet is laid exactly over the first, then brushed with butter, the fourth is placed over the second, then brushed with butter, and so on until all the pastry is used up.

      5. Sprinkle the dry breadcrumbs or semolina over the top two-thirds of the filo pastry, leaving a 4cm border. Dollop the apple mixture over the semolina and smooth down lightly.

      6. Flip the 4cm of bare edge over the filling. Now, starting at the top, roll up the pastry round the apple filling, using the greaseproof paper to help you.

      7. Carefully lift on to a greased baking tray and curve around into a horseshoe shape. Brush the top with any remaining butter.

      8. Bake in the oven for 30–40 minutes, until lightly browned and crisp. Poke a skewer into the centre of the strudel to see if the apple is tender. Loosen the strudel with a knife, then slide carefully on to a serving dish, dusting with icing sugar.
